Design Thinking: Creating Prototypes and Sales Pitches
REGISTRATION FOR THIS COURSE IS CLOSED. The session learning activities include what is design and how to create problem statements to capture found issues within society. We will also discuss ways of conducting ethnographic research and analyzing found data to brainstorm new concepts, narrow down the focus of ideas, and to develop a persona of the target market. Find inspiration through mood boards, exporing concept themes, product exemplify word charts, journey maps, and data flow diagrams. We will also cover graphic design concepts, basics of drawing, and creating renderings. We will create low-fidelity mockups, wireframes, sketches, and storyboards to test concepts and make rapid improvments. Lastly, we will learn to make high-fidelity prototypes and sales pitches/presentations.
