Remote User Research Methods
This course will introduce attendees to nine remote user research methods: heuristic evaluations, cognitive walkthroughs, card sorting, surveys, interviews, focus groups, unmoderated user testing, moderated user testing, and eye tracking all with emphasis on collecting data remotely. Attendees will learn each method, pros/cons, uses, limitations, and best practices through readings, examples, practice exercises, and mock scenarios (or with their employer’s approval, actual products at the attendee’s workplace).

This class will meet live Tuesday and Thursday evenings for 1 hour via Zoom from 8-9:00 PM Eastern / 5-6:00 PM Pacific and then online asynchronously in a learning management system.
